About Me: TLDR

My name is Mitch. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, met my wife Sammie while living on the Big Island of Hawaii, and have since made a home in North County San Diego. I work in Tech as an Enterprise seller with a background in Hospitality and Film. I'm passionate about collaborating with a team to bring about big change, whether that be in business or volunteer work. Outside of my 9 to 5, I spend time playing volleyball, pickleball, golf, or walking to the beach with Sammie and our French bulldog, Archer.

Background and Career

I'm a Strategic Account Executive on the Agentic AI team at Qualtrics, where I've closed $16.7M+ in revenue and averaged 162% of quota over four years. I was selected as one of three sellers company-wide to launch Qualtrics' first Agentic AI product, Experience Agents, operating out of the office of the CEO to shape pricing, GTM design, and product roadmap while carrying a full quota.

Before stepping into the AE seat, I spent four years as a Senior Principal Solutions Engineer at Qualtrics partnering with the CEO and COO in closed door C-suite meetings and contributing to 10+ seven-figure deals at marquee accounts. I built the AI demo asset distributed to 1,500+ sellers that generated $149M+ in NNARR pipeline, and co-led the GTM launch of Location Experience Hub.

I joined Qualtrics in October 2021 after Medallia, where I served as the sole global Solutions Consultant for the Zingle product line following its acquisition. I supported 46+ enterprise deal cycles across Retail, Hospitality, Automotive, Travel, FSI, and Healthcare, helping secure new revenue with Fortune 500 accounts and leading enablement for 400+ sellers.

My path into enterprise tech started in an unconventional place. I launched my career in film and design at a production studio in Washington before starting my own freelance firm. From there I transitioned into Hospitality, managing three departments at Hilton Grand Vacations MarBrisa in Southern California. One of the platforms my team relied on was Zingle, a business messaging platform. After working closely with our CSM and seeing the product's impact firsthand, I joined Zingle in a CSM role and used my operator perspective to help hundreds of businesses replicate the success I'd had in the field. I led the initiative to stand up the product's first ever Knowledge Base and deployed a self-service program for non-premium support customers.

One of the highlights of my career was helping land Marriott as a Qualtrics customer. The deal ran a two-year cycle, went through a competitive bake-off against the incumbent, and closed as one of the largest deals in Qualtrics history. I collaborated across Product, Delivery, Strategy, and our own C-suite to build the business case, and pitched directly to Marriott's Chief Customer Officer and Global SVPs. The scale is what makes it stick with me: 37 brands and 9,000+ hotels. Now when I check out of a Marriott property and get a Qualtrics survey, I get to think, "I did that."

What's next is more of the same: hunting big deals, building GTM motions from scratch, and finding ways to put points on the board at scale. The Agentic AI space is moving fast and I'm exactly where I want to be.
